Adding / Editing Button Styles
|
Button styles determine the menu and button styles for the whole site. Style1 is the name of the default style. This is the style of all the normal buttons on the site - for instance the 'Quick Search' button is of type Style1. If you want to edit the main default style1: Click 'Site Admin / Site Buttons / Edit Style', and click Style 1. Button Face Up Colour The background colour of a button when the mouse is not over it. Button Face Over Colour The background colour of a button when the mouse is over it. Button Text Colour Up The text colour of the button when the mouse is not over it. Button Text Colour Over The text colour of the button when the mouse is over it. Left / Right Arrows Up & Left / Right Arrows Over When a button is a submenu that drops a menu to the left or right, then these arrows show the user. There are only two options - light and dark (or black and white). Border Style Borders can be set in a number of styles, colours and widths. One thing to note is that if you have a border on the up state, then you should have a border in the over state and vice versa. If one of the states is set to border none, then the page will keep resizing itself when you roll over a button which is not a nice effect on some browsers. | Adding Styles You can add as many styles as you want and add them to your drop down menus. Style1 is the default style for all normal site buttons, but you can for instance have a different style for your top buttons and then a different style for the drop down menus.
